What is the dress code?
Cocktail attire. We suggest suits, formal jumpsuits, cocktail dresses (knee length or longer) or dressy separates.
How do I RSVP?
The RSVP feature will be available on this site after the official invitations are sent out.
What time should I arrive to the church for the ceremony?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 pm, we recommend you aim to arrive between 1:30 pm and 1:45 pm to ensure you are comfortably seated beforehand.
Where do I park?
St. James Cathedral has a small parking lot directly next to it. They also have a parking garage open to guests just across the street from the church. It is labeled as the “MAA Robinson Parking Garage” and is located at 310 N. Orange Ave. Park in spots labeled “St. James Cathedral Parking Only". More parking specifics can be found here.
The Capen House has a parking lot right in front.
What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?
The ceremony will be at St. James Cathedral, 215 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32801. The cocktail hour and reception will be at The Capen House, 633 Osceola Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789.
Will the events be indoor or outdoors?
Ceremony will be indoor. Cocktail hour and dinner will take place outside (weather permitting) in the lake view gardens and patio, followed by dancing in the climate-controlled house.
Can I bring my kids or plus one?
Of course! Just make sure everyone is included when you RSVP. If there is an error with someone not being included, please let us know.
Is there a break between the ceremony and reception?
There will be a short gap between the ceremony and the start of cocktail hour. We suggest stopping back at the hotel to freshen up and Uber to the reception or take a quick stroll down Park Ave in Winter Park. St. James is approximately a 15 minute drive (5.3 miles) from The Capen House so please plan accordingly for travel time.
I'm not Catholic. What will the ceremony be like?
You can expect a traditional ceremony with readings and vows. There will be plenty of sit/stand/knee cues you are encouraged to follow. The ceremony will be about 35 minutes.
